Could the fact that my son had anemia on infant / child explain why it is so easy bruising now?
My 6 year old child bruises easily …. like a baby or toddler who was anemic and I thought that had emerged from this … I will take him to the doctors, but I thought I could get some tips from other parents. Any idea if the infant anemia may be the culprit?
When I was younger too was anemic. Throughout my life I was out out of being in the "borderline anemia." I do not know if this is the reason for bruises, but I also have problems with it. A stroke of light on a table will give me the bruise the size of Manhattan.:) I just recently had my blood taken and everything is well. I think it could definitely have something to do with anemia, but he is doing the right thing to see the doctor. Do not worry.
